Homework Clubs

Homework Clubs were implemented in 2001 in response to a need for an after school program outside of the city of Chatham. Operating in rural communities in Chatham-Kent, the Homework Clubs are designed to help children with their school-based activities and organizational skills.

With the financial contribution from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Homework Clubs expanded into five communities and currently operate in Blenheim, Thamesville, Tilbury, Ridgetown, and Wallaceburg. This after school program operates within an elementary school and the children are referred to the program by teachers, parents or school principals.

Homework Clubs are organized by the Learning Disabilities Association of Chatham-Kent personnel in collaboration with school personnel and supported by volunteers and community donations. Please consider getting involved within your community. Registration is required. There is currently no fee for this program.
